Our client, a busy practice that sees both small animal and equine patients, are looking to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon.  The practice is at the stage of expansion where they would consider an experienced surgeon and/or a recent graduate.

The practice operates out of two branches, Rugby and Warwick. They have 7 vets who specialise in orthopaedic surgery. This includes hip replacements, cruciate repair, spinal surgery and bone pinning surgery. They also offer neutering, vaccinations, flea and worm control plus microchipping.  They also have lots of toys, including 2 digital x-ray systems, numerous rigid and flexible endoscopes, 2 ultrasound scanners (1 dopler), ECG equipment, incubators, lots of orthopaedic equipment and a lab at each site with microscopes.  They also have capnographs, blood pressure monitors. O2 monitors, oxygen generators and all the nice things that help monitor anaesthesia. 

The practice is open 8:30-6:30 (Mon-Sat) and 10-4 (Sun).  All OOH is contracted out to an emergency provider.  The successful candidate will work a 4 day week and a 1 in 5 weekend rota with a built in long weekend off following a weekend at work.
  
Salary package is dependent on experience and can include car plus accommodation depending on the needs of the successful candidate.  As well as this fantastic opportunity to work in a challenging and supportive environment, also on offer is 5 weeks holiday plus a flexible CPD allowance depending on what the candidate would like to pursue.
