Our client, a busy, T2 small animal practice are looking to add a qualified Head Veterinary Nurse to their expanding team.

Some experience working in a head or senior nurse capacity within a small animal environment is desirable with a willingness to work hard, show the ability to think on your feet and be able to effectively supervise a team of veterinary nurses and nursing assistants.

The successful candidate will have exposure to and involvement with both routine and more complicated cases, be responsible for the nurses rota and oversee very occasional in patient checks (OOH is contracted out).

There is a 38hr working week made up of:

Monday: 8am-4pm ; 9am-6:30pm or 2pm-7pm
Tues/Wed & Thurs: 8am-7pm (with 1 of these 3 days off)
Friday: 8am-5pm ; 11am-7pm or 2pm-7pm
Sat: 8:30am-1pm

On offer is up to £18,000 (depending on experience), a 1 in 3 weekend rota plus generous CPD allowance.
